Client: Westside Corporation Location: Moura, QLD Completion: July 2023 Project Overview: Beginning with conceptual design and engineering packages, our team meticulously developed project drawings, laying the groundwork for offsite manufacturing and procurement of necessary components, including replacement compressor instrumentation.     < Back Sibelco Control System Upgrade Hamilton was engaged to bring back online the obsolete crusher motor at their processing facility in Calliope, through the design and installation of a new control system aimed at enhancing production efficiencies and safety data. Client: Sibelco Location: Calliope, QLD Completion: 2018 Project Overview: Hamilton's scope involved the meticulous design, supply, and construction of a new control system for the obsolete crusher motor. The project necessitated replacing the outdated DC motor with a new AC motor and implementing a new variable speed drive. Additionally, level monitoring equipment was installed to monitor the rock level in the crusher, ensuring optimal crushing efficiency. The project's significant highlight was integrating a new control system into an existing plant without any available site drawings. The Hamilton team traced out every cable and determined its function before commencing the design process. Moreover, a substantial amount of redundant and unsafe cabling was removed from the switchboards, enhancing safety and equipment maintainability.     < Back Swan Analytical - Steam Water Analysis System Hamilton had the pleasure of facilitating the design, procurement and construction of the Steam Water Analyser Systems for Swan Analytical's delivery to BHP's sites. This was a bespoke project that required innovation, agility and the highest of standards to align with BHP's requirements. Client: Swan Analytical/BHP Location: Gympie, QLD Completion: 2021 Project Overview: Hamilton was commissioned to design, procure and construct three Water Analytical Containers for SWAS Equipment to enhance the steam and water analysis capabilities at BHP power sites. The scope included comprehensive aspects such as electrical and instrumentation design, mechanical design, procurement, and installation of stainless-steel racks, sinks, and benches. Additionally, water pipework for cooling and sample lines was designed and procured, with Swagelok tube and fittings supplied and installed. The project also entailed switchboard design, supply, and build to ensure seamless operations. Our collaborative approach with Swan Analytical, combined with technical expertise, ensures the seamless integration of advanced analytical systems, enhancing operational efficiency and reliability for our clients like BHP.
